SANDERSVILLE is a rural city located in the Washington County, Georgia conveniently located less than two hours from both Atlanta and Savannah. In 2019, over 148 million people commuted to work, with 15% travelling 60+ minutes in Georgia alone. What if there were a way to connect Sandersville to the urban environment, allowing people to have a small town way of life while having the benefits of the growing urban economy.
MOVING STRUCTURE
Utilizing an Arduino Uno and Grasshopper script, I was able to create a photoreceptive prototype which would change the angle of the structure based on the intensity of sun/light it received.
